Bike to Woody Creek

Your guide will get you outfitted with a performance mountain bike and lead you from the hotel down the Rio Grande Trail towards Woody Creek. Travel 8 miles on a mostly unpaved bike trail past several waterfalls and across an open meadow to the eclectic Woody Creek Tavern. The tavern is famous for its hand squeezed lime margaritas & great Mexican fare, but more importantly it was Hunter S. Thompson’s favorite hang out outside of the J-Bar.
