Tour de 14ers Experience

This summer 2018, Auberge Resort Collection’s sister properties in Colorado will introduce an exhilarating Auberge Adventure program to explore some of the state’s most iconic peaks – the Colorado 14ers. The 14ers are approximately 53 mountain peaks rising above 14,000 feet of elevation and which serve as a rite of passage for extreme climbers and hikers. Prime time to make these ascents is during the summer when the Rockies are in full bloom with outdoor enthusiasts swapping out their skis for hiking boots; adventurers can choose from a variety of difficulty levels ranging from “easy” to more tough and technical climbs.
As part of the joint program between Hotel Jerome in Aspen and Madeline Hotel and Residences in Telluride, thrill-seeking guests can choose to experience one or both Auberge “base camps” in a 3- or 6- day program that have them go through a boot camp training, followed by guided tours led by Aspen Alpine Guides and Telluride Mountain Guiding, respectively, to ascend 14ers around Aspen and Telluride. Along with accommodations at both luxury properties, the one-of-a-kind experience will also include specially-designed menus by Jerome and Madeline’s Executive Chefs, and luxurious recovery spa treatments.
The Tour de 14ers by Auberge experience is available between June – September.
